April 12th Raid Planning

We had 20 Anons at the last raid, let's see if we can double that.

Also...I guess now we are a church according to the news media....should we file for tax exemption too? I'll have to send my notes on our "church's" Bible, Prayer, and what/who is worshipped. But it was definately epic lulz when i heard this.

Since this protest is called "Operation Reconnect", we should probably have a few people who have family in Scientology and ask them to join us in protesting.

I can plot out professional Signs for the next protest (Black and White only at this time, sorry)

Give me some ideas as to what I should make.

Also, is there anyway to directly link PDFs to this forum? That would be helpful.

I just don't know how good of an idea it would be to have a giant gun sign. Anyway, R2-45 is something that the general public would probably find a little tin-foil hat if they didn't know the full story. If we had a ton of people coming we wouldn't need to be so picky about signs, but with our numbers every sign counts for a lot. I'm gonna go with something basic like "Scientology disconnects families", personally. I like the Operation reconnect flier, the only thing I would suggest is adding the address for enturbulation.org for easier access to info on the local protest on the 12th, or maybe just the info itself.

I'm about to order a bunch of YouFoundTheCard business cards...1000 seems the most cost efficient so I'll probably have a bunch to bring up there on the 12th and distribute to you guys.

Also, more pix pls. I am compiling them and I only got a few crappy ones from when there were only like 7 people there.

I like that Reconnect Flier, It's short and to the point.

I think it would also help if there was a 'Public Forum' on this site that we could direct people to for local information such as protests and other events without them having to read all of our bullshit intelligent rants.

We could just add our url by hand to the fliers before copying them.

That flier would need to be printed full or half page in order to be easily read. Keep in mind that quarter page fliers are always best. People are more likely to take them, and more likely to keep them and actually read them as well. This is coming from fellow anons that had a little advice on the fliers.

I had to take out the Image and change the Font so that it could still be clearly legible with smaller type.

Concerning UNM:
I like those ones where you rip off the tabs on the bottom and stuff. You can also use chalk (Anyone see that one on the stairs near Zimmerman that says "The Big Spank"?) on the sides of 'Center of the Univers(ity)' since a lot of students pass by on their way to class. You might have to battle for space with the Halo 3 nerds, though. There's also tons of walking space to chalk all over.

Don't put fliers in the SUB, they'll get taken down to make room for sanctioned advertisement. Fliers are confined to the bulletin boards around campus and being handed out by real people (UNM students avoid the latter like a plague, by the way--and those environmentalists are really annoying). They might be interested if you show up in some kind of weird outfit, though.

If you can get into La Posada, you can post a big fat napkin advertisement on the napkin comment board (last year there was a semi-epic/retarded round robin napkin comic that got its own board after a while...damn anime fans...). People like reading the comments on the board since some of the poor kids who eat there can be pretty amusing. It's got something to do with commiserating over Lapo's rampant use of mild laxatives in their food (okay, not really, but it's still pretty gross).

I recommend fliering covered bus stops and along Central (but don't go alone) and around UNM campus.

If you're going to use that Reconnect flier, be sure to fix the typo at the end of the last paragraph.

"Church of on" should read "Church of Scientology on"

So is this going to be near the Scientology building? We would get a lot more coverage on central. The Co$ is also trying to get one of the buildings on central near UNM so it would make sense.

hate to say this, but I think we've been hitting the small target. The phone book and official stuff from Co$ says the building is at 8106 Menaul Boulevard N.E. I'll try to scout out that location this week, or if someone else can that would be great since I'm up in Rio Rancho and that would be a long drive.

They're trying to buy the "Gizmo" building (on central west of 1st). I haven't been able to find an official documents on the purchases yet. however; they are likely very well hidden.

In regards to the Menaul location I'm fairly sure they used to have a spot there, but I've done a few drive-bys and haven't been able to see it.

Here's what Google maps shows @ 8106 Menaul. Judging by what I could read of the sign and the building itself it is no longer Scientology related, but I'll drive by tonight on my way home from work.

seems a little strange... are they trying to send people to the wrong location? if not, they're doing a good job by not updating their location in the phone book and church locater.

8106 Menaul NE is an old address. I used to deliver there and always got blown over by all the cigarette smoke in the place. I guess LRH isn't able to empower them enough to avoid lung cancer!

They just haven't had enough auditing to be rid of the craving for nicotine - they need over $9000 worth before they can quit.
