News about The Gizmo Building

I finally got an answer about whether a decision had been made regarding the Gizmo. I wrote to councilwoman Sally Mayer and got this back:

Currently this project is still under appeal and will have the full hearing on Sept. 3rd, 2008, because this case has not yet been heard, the Councilor cannot have any kind of ex parte communication regarding the project.

We will know more after the hearing on Sept. 3rd. thanks for you interest.

No sir, I am not! I just happen to be someone that is close to the owner of Gizmo.

You say they will have it by December huh? They haven't even gotten the Conditional Use Permit yet. That should be decided on 10/06/08

Then the owner of the Gizmo has no idea who he is dealing with. This is not a church or a religion, you tell him that. We do not care what they believe in, but we do care that they are exploiting people for profit. Their money is blood money and it comes mostly from people who do not even receive a fair wage for their work. Please also let him know that if the $cilons go to the Gizmo, we'll be right there with them.

I'll let him know. By the way Gizmo, for those of you that dont know, has a huge sidewalk infront of it; perfet for big protests
